This lamp has been named after the weave used to create the lampshade. In 2024, the Loxiale workshop revisited the traditional ‘Berlinge’ weave at the Maison des Toiles in Saint Thélo during the ‘Détissage en Binome’ residency with artist Marie Bertouloux from the Ekcelli studio. This weave was created to mark the 100th anniversary of the Seiz Breur movement, as a tribute to Jeanne Malivel and her emblem, the sun.
