For over a year, I had the privilege of leading a team of designers, artists, researchers and students and sharing my knowledge of working with cork with them. Through encounters with manufacturers, design studios, growers and harvesters, this residency marked a turning point in my career, particularly in my ‘encounter’ with the cork oaks.
